Northwest Electrical Contracting, Inc. is a full-service electrical contractor serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. We specialize in commercial and industrial electrical and low voltage services. We serve many markets including commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, institutional, restaurants, and fuel stations. We are signatory to the IBEW Local 8 and are a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). Northwest Electrical Contracting, Inc. is a family-owned business founded in 1984. Owner, Jody McCollum has built the company with his core values as the foundation: Integrity, Reliability, and Quality Service. Our experienced team of Managers, Estimators, Administrative Staff and Electricians always perform their duties with these core values at the forefront.
Our Story
Providing Commercial Electrical Services Since 1984
Northwest Electrical Contracting, Inc. was established in 1984 by Jody McCollum. He started with only a pickup truck, $500, and a vision to build a reputable electrical contracting firm. From its conception, the company has experienced steady and regimented growth. In 1994, the company became associated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 8 Union.
Over the last several years, the electrical industry has seen and is currently experiencing unprecedented changes due to emerging technologies. Northwest has always and will continue to provide a highly trained workforce to meet the challenges for years to come.
